I also think, if I could re-design the puzzle, that a note with letters in a 3x3 grid would be more readily solved, because the letters would correspond to a number pad. I tried to solve the puzzle this same way.Įxcept I thought the # corresponded to the word order, so 1424 for me (oLd man was the 1st word, snakE was the 4th word, doG was the 2nd word, etc.)
